Okay team who is ready for a soft, feisty, and fun romcom?
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
Whoops! This was supposed to come out while I was on vacation, and guess who messed up. It was me. I'm beyond late to the ball game in reading Fangirl, however it was absolutely lovely. You can tell that this came out when I was going to college, it was the hey-day of fanfiction (or... Continue Reading →
Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin
17th Century France. Witches. Enemies-to-lovers. With over 500 pages of drama, sass, beautiful relationship dynamics and a magic system warring with faith, let Ms. Mahurin sweep you away into Serpent & Dove.
Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
I give my kudos and recommendation for the lonely girl with human flaws, inhumane power, and a best friend who would move mountains. Like calls to like as the Grisha say so be careful with this book, as know I found a part of me in it.
Firebolt by Adrienne Woods
Firebolt by Adrienne Woods, a surprising 4 🌟! Check out school with magic, dragons, prophecies and a girl who can't believe this is really happening.
Magpie’s Song by Allison Pang
A beautifully crafted novel that somehow also includes a floating city, a clockwork dragon, and half-breed children immune to what is akin to the plague? All-in-all, I cannot recommend a book more highly. Please, just go read get it, I promise you won't regret it.
Persuasion (Curse of the Gods) by Jaymin Eve & Jane Washington
Eve & Washington are able to seamlessly weave together very human characters, class strife, more delicious reverse harem moments, more humor than I'd seen in a high fantasy novel, and an ever growing plot line. Once again in the Curse of the Gods series, I highly recommend this fast read novel that leaves you wanting more.
Trickery (Curse of the Gods) by Jaymin Eve & Jane Washington
4 Stars. Highly recommended for a fast read, with lighthearted humor. Waiting for the later books and diving in deeper for a higher rating. Warning to those who get easily attached to fictional characters and those who look for their OTP.Â
Amber Sky by Claire Warner
First, I just want to say when the first thing you do after a book is finished is reach for your phone to share it with a friend, you know you've got a keeper. Amber Sky originally had me guessing what this book would be about. Now that I'm at the end I'm somehow still... Continue Reading →
Omega by Jus Accardo
Okay, I just want to say that I love novels. I love reading. And I adore interesting ideas. With Omega, my very first Advanced Readers Copy (ARC) I thought I'd hit the jackpot. And here it comes. The big one. BUT.
