This book will not be for everyone, it may not be the right book for you until the right time of your life. I was frustrated and unable to connect in with Gemma the first time I read it, but when I tried again her resiliency and strength, and truly just finding joy when you can spoke to a part of me that I could understand and cherish better. I truly did fall in love with the story.
There will be moments for everyone in this book. I’m just saying feral is a good look on readers. It was everything I was hoping for, and more
The stakes are even higher in book two and there are new mysteries to unravel. It's safe to say that my obsession with this series is going nowhere.
Is this about dragons? Yes. Is it set surrounding war time activities? Yes. Is it anything like Fourth Wing? No, this is infinitely darker and more political.
