I was left speechless from the rich and complex world building, political plots, and memorable characters.
Sky in the Deep, is harsh and poetic, beautiful and heartbreaking, somehow all at once. Adrienne skillfully handles the challenges of what family, community, and home mean.
Battles, Magic, Balls and so much more. Another excellent showing from Ms. Schwab, that left me dying for more!
I without a doubt of hesitation hope you dive in to this series. It's easily one of my favorites of all time, and I hope it becomes one of yours too.
I loved A Darker Shade of Magic. It challenged the rut of novels I felt like I've been drawn towards in the past, with it's sense of how magic works, and the eternal struggle of good vs. evil, and humanity in general.
I give my kudos and recommendation for the lonely girl with human flaws, inhumane power, and a best friend who would move mountains. Like calls to like as the Grisha say so be careful with this book, as know I found a part of me in it.
Full of romantic tension, the strength of friendships, amazing magics, crazy intense world building, exciting creatures, and everything you want in a fantasy novel.Â
If you want to run away to Alaska, without having to throw on a coat, I highly recommend joining Maddie and Logan on their adventure.Â
A refreshingly hard hitting novel, that beautifully details real life with a side heaping of humor along the way.Â
