Seduction (Curse of the Gods) by Jaymin Eve & Jane Washington

Do you need a series to put in someone’s stocking? Because yet again, Jaymin Eve and Jane Washington knocked the ball out of the park with the newest Curse of the Gods novel.

A recurring theme with this series is that I devoured the book in one sitting. The fast pace of the novels, and the unique situation of the Willa and the Abcurse brothers is just as addicting. This pace works extremely well with the format in which these books are released. I mean this is the third book this year, and while the stories are the size of a full novel, they read like a fast paced novella. I think this speaks volumes to the authors.

What I liked about this novel the most was the world building and ground building that it lays out for the future novels. I thoroughly enjoyed some of the surprising revelations, and can’t wait to see where they take us, we were given just enough of a taste of what might be coming that I’m excited to see how the story develops.

Eve & Washington delivered on a promise that had been building over the last two novels, okay maybe they delivered on several promises. However, with two of the largest promises that we as readers had been waiting for it seemed as if the scenes were rushed. Something that to me was a slight let down, especially in comparison to the writing surrounding the rest of the plot.

Seduction is so fun and the I love the character’s and this story so much, I just going to sit here waiting anxiously for the next installment in the Curse of the Gods series.
