Am I getting to finally write this review very late? Like nearly a year and a half late? Yes. Did this book reach it's grubby little paws into my chest and take over my heart? Yes.
The Maiden & The Unseen by Jeanette Rose and Alexis Rune
I delayed writing this review. This time it wasn't the ADHD, it wasn't that I hadn't gotten everything else prepped, it was because I didn't want to write it. Which breaks my heart. This story had everything going for it that I was going to love it. Hades and Persephone retelling, spice, fated mates, sass,... Continue Reading →
The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling
deadline Vivi and Rhys are just what you need to pull you out of a slum, or give yourself a little break from the drudgery of the every day.
A Deal with the Elf King by Elise Kova
This was a perfect fantasy romance. If you are looking for an escape from the election stress this week, I could not recommend this book more.
Sacrificed to the Dragon by Jessie Donovan
A quick read, with good writing that falls into comfortable shifter-fantasy tropes, however this also includes some I don't love. 3.5 Stars overall.
Flame by Donna Grant
Flame was a good, quick read. It had good characterizations and an interesting plot.
Highland Deception by Lori Ann Bailey
I was looking for an easy to read romance. Well I got it, and it did hit what should have been all my favorite notes in a Scottish romance, but I didn't fall in love with it.
Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin
17th Century France. Witches. Enemies-to-lovers. With over 500 pages of drama, sass, beautiful relationship dynamics and a magic system warring with faith, let Ms. Mahurin sweep you away into Serpent & Dove.
Witchmark by C.L.Polk
Complete with family drama, delightful plot twists, phenomenal romantic tension, murder mysteries and a government conspiracy Witchmark sinks into your bones.
Dark of the West by Joanna Hathaway
I was left speechless from the rich and complex world building, political plots, and memorable characters.
